Fribourg, October 27, 2022. Virtual Minds continues to drive its growth efforts in Europe. To this end, the leading European technology provider for programmatic advertising has bundled all resources for business scaling in a separate area and filled the newly created position of Director Growth with Anna Schenk on October 15th. Schenk, who was most recently responsible for European business as Managing Director EMEA at the semantic targeting provider Semasio, will focus on developing new European markets outside the DACH (GER-AT-CH) region. She reports to Dirk von Borstel, who, as Managing Director of Virtual Minds, is responsible for the areas of Product as well as Corporate & Business Development.

Anna Schenk (39) has many years of technology and marketing experience from positions on the agency, customer and tech vendor side. After graduating in International Marketing from Fortys University Venlo (Netherlands), she began her professional career as an online media planner and later as a consultant for online technologies at the Hamburg media agency pilot. She worked for Blume 2000 new media as an online marketing manager before moving to the European semantic targeting provider Semasio, whose team she initially supported in product management and then as Head of Client Development before finally taking on the position of Managing Director EMEA.

At Virtual Minds, Schenk will focus on the internationalisation of the product roadmap, the identification of suitable key markets and target companies for the new media manager platform generation in particular, and the expansion of suitable international market entry and sales structures for scaling the technology business.
