Thomas Peruzzi Joins Virtual Minds as New CTO: Sets Course for Expansion of Technology Leadership among European Ad Tech Providers

The Freiburg-based technology holding virtual minds AG underscores its claim to technology leadership among European ad tech providers and has appointed Thomas Peruzzi to the Board of Management as of 01 October. Peruzzi will hold the newly created position of CTO (Chief Technology Officer, Technology Division) with immediate effect. In this function, he will be responsible for the further expansion of the full tech stack for digital marketing across all holding companies, as well as the further integration of dedicated virtual minds’ technology solutions and teams.
Thomas Peruzzi (43) is among the most adept ad tech specialists in the European digital market. Within the scope of his professional career, the IT and digital technology expert has been responsible in numerous consulting functions and (interim) management positions for the development and expansion, as well as the management, of technology platforms and solutions for media and digital companies such as Gruner + Jahr, Hubert Burda Media, Axel Springer, Holtzbrinck Publishing Group, Publigroupe, Laterpay and Styria Media Group. In addition, the native of Austria is active as a business angel in e-commerce and content start-ups and assists in due diligence audits in the technology and product area with his expertise. He also works as a mentor and lecturer at universities such as the TU Wien (Vienna) and the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences.
