Neuzugang im Vorstand des führenden europäischen Adtech-Anbieters: Nils Roehrig wird Chief Product Officer von virtual minds
Freiburg, 14 January 2019. virtual minds AG has started the new year with a new executive board member. Since 1 January, Nils Röhrig as Chief Product Officer (CPO) has been on the top management of the Freiburg-based technology holding company. With the appointment of Nils Röhrig, now responsible across the group for product strategy and business development in the media technology business area, virtual minds group is underlining its growth ambitions and its market positioning as the foremost European adtech supplier.
Nils Röhrig (53) has about 25 years of international product and marketing expertise in top positions at leading media companies and on the agency side. A native of Hanover, he started his career in 1994 in the TV area in the sales division of Deutsches SportFernsehen (Kirch Group) and MGM MediaGruppe Munich. In 1999, Nils Röhrig changed as Head of Online Marketing at LetsBuyIt.com, in which ProSieben then held an interest, into the online area until 2006, when he joined GroupM (WPP Werbeholding), where initially as Managing Director of GroupM Interaction he was responsible for the entire digital business of the largest media agency in Germany. In the following ten years, he played a major role in the establishment and expansion of programmatic agency business, for example as Managing Director of targ.ad/Xaxis and as Head of/EMEA Director Online Trading. His last position at GroupM took him to China, where as CDO and CEO of GroupMConnect he successfully promoted the expansion of agency business in the largest Asian digital market. Most recently, with his own firm glass digital consulting Nils Röhrig advised mainly tech companies in the strategy and product area.
